Often people say they believe their god is all-powerful and all-knowing. All too many, also seem to feel the need to speak in defense of their god. They insist on taking up arms, or raising their voice, to do what they're confessing in such acts their god cannot do. The question this logically raises is, if your god is so much more powerful than you, and knows everything, why are you getting involved in what is only between god and the person making fun of it? Religious people could just more easily shake their heads, think we nonbelievers are fools, and just move on with their day, but they choose to admit by their actions that they know their god is all in their head.
